Description of Wedding: In the summer of 2015, Don and I were both living in Madison, WI and met through a mutual friend. This friend had been trying to set us up for some time, but the timing had never been quite right. Then one day in July, I met this friend on the Capitol Lawn in Madison, Wisconsin for "Concerts on the Square". Halfway through our bottle of wine, Don sees his friend with me and joined us on our picnic blanket. He was talking about his summer and a music festival he'd been to recently.

Beth & James... Ft. MurrayThese Pittsburgh natives both moved back to their home city in 2013, met online soon after, but were both not looking for anything too serious. Surprise surprise this did not last too long! They started dating after two weeks and said I love you after two more. That being said, they were not in any rush to get married. They dated for 6 years, moved to Chicago together, and adopted a dog (more on this adorable Golden Retriever later). Beth always said “not until I’m at least 30!” when it came to the idea of marriage. With this in mind, a week after her 30th birthday James finally popped the question.
