Mike was Lindsey’s one and only date from a dating site. They had their first date at the J. Parker in Lincoln Park. Drinks turned in to walking down the street for dinner and yes, it did end in a first date kiss. That’s where their love story began!

They lived together for 1 year, and Mike proposed in May 2016. Both Mike’s and Lindsey’s parents were in town for a late Mother’s Day weekend. After dinner, the group walked back to Mike and Lindsey’s apartment, a high rise complex, and as they were walking on to the elevator Lindsey accidentally dropped her cell phone. It slide right down the elevator shaft. Everyone was in shock and making a fuss about it, while Lindsey said, “No big deal I will get it tomorrow.”
Little did she know what she was about to walk into!

Their guests and the couple walked into the apartment, and the first surprise was waiting for her. Lindsey’s entire family was there! Her parents, sister and brother in law, her brother and sister in law, aunts, and Mike’s family. Lindsey scanned the champagne filled room, she noticed Mike had dropped to his knee, he proposed in front of both of their families. As she cried and said yes, Mike had another surprise!
He arranged a party afterwards at the bar where they had their first date – they were all waiting. Mike and Lindsey toasted with family and then walked down the street to their engagement party that night in a private room with about 50 of their closest friends and family.

It was one of the best night’s of their lives together until the special day one year later!

Lindsey and Mike had a destination wedding at the Westin Mission Hills Resort in Rancho Mirage, CA. She walked down the aisle in a stunning lace bodice with a tiered tulle skirt by Karen Willis Holmes. She completed her wedding day look with a gorgeous hair piece from Haute Bride.

Lindsey’s favorite part of the day was the gorgeous sunny weather California is known for and
being able it to share it with all 180 guests!

They ate, drank, and danced the night away, ending with Boston’s “More than a Feeling,” the inspiration for their wedding hashtag #morrellthanafeeling!
