A wonderful way to start out the week with a beautiful vineyard wedding sent from Myra Photograhpy – based in Chicago. ย
Seek out the good in people, stay positive, and be the bright sunflower to other people. That is what Katharine remembers from a vacation with her Mother when she was a young girl when they found themselves in a huge field of sunflowers all facing the sun. They talked about the lovely flower and it’s symbolism. This memory has stayed with Katharine and would be a huge influence when selecting her wedding flowers.
This amazing wedding took place on July 2, 2011 at the willow Harbor Vineyards nestled in the Southwest Michigan’s Harbor Country. This is 40 acres of grape vines, horse pastures, and magnificent water features. Only about 75 miles from Chicago, this is the Midwest’s own Napa Valley!
Each bridesmaid was given a bouquet a different flowers that reflected their personality. Katharine’s bouquet was a beautiful culmination of all of their flowers symbolizing the contribution they have all made to her life and who she has become. We know….you want to meet this amazing woman of who we speak. It a rare occurrence when we are able to see such emotion and thoughtfulness in images. We see it here. Myranda from Myra Photography did an amazing job capturing the beauty of Katherine inside and out.
The country-chic theme of this wedding can be seen in many of the details from the lanterns adorned with flowers and the wedding pies to Katherine’s amazing boots!
It’s been a pleasure and a privilege to view Katherine and Tony’s journey. Special thank you to Myra Photography for sharing this amazing wedding with Bella Bleu.
