Congratulations! Youโre now engaged, which means itโs time to start booking your bridal appointment at Bella Bleu Bridal. Our consultants are here to help youย find your perfect wedding dressย on your special day.ย We want your appointment to go as smooth as possible, so here are 4 ways to prepare for your bridal appointment at Bella Bleu Bridal.
ย ย ย 1. Know your budget
This is by far the most important aspect of your preparation process. You should know how much you are willing to spend on your wedding dress so your consultant can be sure to stay within your budget. This way every second of your 90-minute appointment will be productive.
Currently, our gowns range from $2000-$5000. We do have trunk show incentives several times a year.
ย ย ย 2. Have an idea of what you want, but still be open-minded

It doesnโt hurt to go through a few bridal magazines or Bella Bleu Bridalโs shop to get an idea of what dresses capture your attention. This gives your consultant an idea of what style you are looking for. Fit to flare, ball gown, long sleeve, sleeveless, etc.
However, just because you โknowโ what design you want, doesnโt mean you shouldnโt try on a dress you initially dislike. You should keep an open mind. You might be surprised that the dress you aren’t initiallyย impressed with on the hanger ends up being your top choice once you try it on.
Our Bridal Stylist will suggest styles that you may love!
ย ย ย 3. Watch your calendar
The more time you have, the more dress options there will be, so don’t wait until you have only a few months left before your wedding day. We recommend that you book an appointment nine to twelve months in advance. However, even if your wedding is under six months, we can accommodate rush orders. There is a limited selection of dresses that you can purchase off the rack if timing is a concern.
ย The early bird gets the worm as they say but we recommend that you not start your gown shopping until you have a date and venue.
ย ย ย 4. Bring a few of your loved ones
Just because you have eight bridesmaids, doesnโt mean itโs a good idea to bring them all to your appointment. Think about who you want to bring because having too many people or the wrong person attend your appointment can create an emotional roller coaster. Having only one to three other people is ideal because it minimizes the different personalities and tends to make everything go a lot smoother.
You want friends/family who will be honest, but you also want friends that first and foremost will be supportive. You will hear many opinions but the most valuable one is your own.
Bonus Tip: It is helpful to bring undergarments of similar styles that you will wear on your wedding day, including strapless bras and shaping garments (Spanx!).
Now that you know exactly how to prepare for your appointment, thereโs no question that it will go down without a hitch. We are excited to be a part of your journey!
